Today, all houses met for the first time.
Newly named for the elements that their colours represent, our four houses (Air, Fire, Earth and Water) gathered to come up with a house cheer and to choose their captains.
Our teachers and students were spread out all over our school grounds and the rumblings of various chants started to echo around Tay Shores PS. It was great for me to have the chance to see our school community coming together and celebrating their new Titan Spirit.
Tomorrow, during our Spirit Assembly, each house will present its new cheer and will introduce their new house captains. I can't wait to see what they've come up with.
On another note, please be aware that we have started our Little Caesar's Pizza Kit Fundraiser. Make sure you take this fundraiser with you when you visit relatives this Thanksgiving Weekend.
And, on yet another note, I'd like to congratulate our first Titan victors, the Intermediate Girl's Cross Country Team who captured first place at the Area 1 Meet. Good luck at the County Championships later this month, girls!!
