New Name Approved

       After a lengthy process we have achieved Board approval to be named, "Tay Shores Public School". I hope that you'll agree with our committee that this name is very inclusive of the three communities that are amalgamating this fall.
       Located along the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay in Tay Township, I intend to help make this the best school in the SCDSB.
       Today, or tomorrow, all families will receive the first edition of "The Tay Shores Tribune" which is the name of our new newsletter. In that newsletter you should find some valuable information regarding our plans for the first week of school and the campaign to come up with a mascot, motto and school colours.
       I hope that our Tay families are as excited as I am about our new school.
